We are pleased to introduce our Anniversary section to Winescape. Have you ever been stuck for that special something for a wedding, anniversary, or a different and unusual birthday gift ? A copy of the 1946 Times newspaper is a wonderful idea - but how much better would it be to be able to sample an Armagnac or Cognac from the same year!

All the fine spirits below will be delivered to the address of your choice on the day of your choice - beautifully packed in a high quality wooden box, making your special gift just that little bit more individual. The price you see includes the bottle of your choice, wooden box and gift card - so you can relax and let us help you make that date really special, and remember that all orders of over £100 are delivered free of charge.

A little background on the Armagnac and Cognac we offer on our site:

Adex, the owner of the Sigognac brand, are viticulteurs and distillers at their own estate, the Chateau de Bordeneuve, as well as being one of the largest stockholders in the Armagnac region. The company is one of the few specialist éleveurs and can offer vintages going back well over 100 years. The colour can range from pale straw to rich amber and the oak and brandy react together throughout the aging process developing the complex flavours and aromas of the finished product.

The vintage Armagnac of Baron de Lustrac comes from small Domaine who work together to age and care for the brandy whilst also maintaining exclusive distribution rights - this way preserving the proud history and very high quality of their product. The labels are inscribed with the year of distillation, the name of the Domaine of production, the bottle number and, where relevant, the grape variety.

Planat et Cie is a family owned Cognac House whose founder's son, Oscar Planat was much involved in the development of the city of Cognac and was it's mayor in the mid 1800's. Planat is a pretige blend of Cognac from the Grande and Petite Champagne regions. As well as having a minimin age of 4 years it contains a proportion of older brandies to provide a rich and beautifully balanced digestif.

If you have any questions or would like to confirm that we have received your order, please use our Contact Us section on the site and we will get back to you as soon as possible. As these items are of limited availability, please order early to make sure of getting your chosen vintage for the delivery day you require.
